At the 2017 Mechatronics Awards, Sepro was awarded the Silver Innovation Award for its universal robot control software: Visual.
The Mechatronics Awards reward the best innovations in the field of mechatronics. This year's theme was "Robotics and Industry of the Future".
"Innovating at Sepro is about breaking down established perimeters and capturing trends, and we target a sustained rhythm of product innovations. "
Visual, the specially developed control platform by Sepro for plastic injection molding machines, can be adapted for the
programming of the simplest to the most sophisticated robots.
This software can control an individual robot or a complete automation cell. It can be used not only to drive Sepro robots but also robots from other brands including those of partner companies such as Stäubli Robotics and Yaskawa Motoman.
The Visual control platform can be integrated into the injection molding control systems manufactured by Sumitomo Demag, Billion, Stork and others, making it easier to set up and operate the production cells of IMM manufacturers.
