Creation of Sepro Group
Paul Radat creates SEPRO Engineering (Société d’Etude de nouveaux PROduits – New Products Design Company) with the activity of automating processes for the fabrication of sheet metal parts.
1978
First pawn control
First pawn control robot used in Sepro in 1978.
1982
First numerical control robot
First numerical control robot used for unloading plastic injection presses.
1989
1000th Sepro robot
Delivery of the 1000th Sepro robot in La Roche-sur-Yon, France.
1991
New subsidiaries: Sepro Germany and Sepro UK
Creation of two European subsidiaries: Sepro Germany in Dietzenbach and Sepro United Kingdom in Milton Keynes.

G4 product range
Official release of the Generation 4 large robots product range. The G4 product range was awarded the gold medal at the Brno show in the Czech Republic for innovation in Plastics Technology.

Visteon Important Partner Award
Sepro receives the “Visteon Important Partner Award” in Cologne and was elected the best supplier in 2003 for Europe in the “European Non-Production Commodity Group” category.
2005
Axess product range
Start up of the Axess product range, a range of 3-axis digital robots dedicated to simple unloading applications on 20 to 600-Tonne injection presses. Axess becomes a bestseller.
2007
New subsidiary - Sepro America
Creation of a new subsidiary: Sepro America in Pittsburg.
2008
New subsidiary - Sepro Mexico
Creation of a new subsidiary: Sepro Mexico in Queretaro.
2009
Partnership with Sumitomo-Demag
Signature of a new partnership with Sumitomo (SHI) Demag and release of the SDR robot range adapted to Systec and IntElect plastic injection presses.
2010
S5 Line
At the K’ show in Düsseldorf, release of the 3-axis robot product range, S5 Line technology, controlled by the Visual 2 instrumentation control – The Industrial Robot par excellence.
2011
New partnerships
Cooperation between Sepro and Milacron on the North American market under a private brand agreement. Cooperation between Sepro and Sumitomo (SHI) Demag in China.
2012
New offer: Your free choice in robots
Cooperation between Sepro and Machines Pagès to develop complete Packaging and IML solutions. New technological cooperation with Stäubli and release of 5-axis and 6-axis robot product ranges: 5X Line and 6X Visual. Release of the Success 3-axis robot range and the new S3 digital sprue Picker. All these products are controlled by Visual. The Sepro offer becomes "Your free choice in robots".
2013
Sepro Group
Sepro was awarded the “International enterprise prize – EY and Express magazine – West Region – France” for its exceptional international performance. Sepro Robotique becomes Sepro Group. At the K’ show in Düsseldorf, two ranges of robots were launched, the 3-axis Multi-Inject range and the 5-axis 5 DualArm range, both controlled by Visual. 2013 was a record year for Sepro (turnover and number of robots sold).
2014
Best year in Sepro's history!
Best year in Sepro’s history for the second year running. Significant increase in market shares on the North American market for large robots. Sepro America moves and inaugurates a new Technical Cluster in Pittsburgh. Faurecia Interior Systems (FIS) nominates Sepro as Premium Supplier 2014 and awards the company the Technological Leadership award.
2015
New subsidiary - Sepro Canada
Creation of a new subsidiary: Sepro Canada in Montreal.

Big robots
3 new ranges of big robots are launched on the market, for IMMs over 800 tons: Strong, S7 Line and 7X Line. Sepro’s automation offer becomes Solution by Sepro. Partnership agreements are signed with IMM manufacturers Stork (Netherlands) and Billion (France). Sepro Group earns two awards in France : « Grand Prix des Entreprises de Croissance » and « Prix Image Entreprise ». 2015 is the 3rd record year for Sepro Group.
2016
New subsidiary - Sepro China
Creation of a new subsidiary: Sepro China in Shanghai. Creation of Sepro-Yaskawa brand to widen the 6-axis robot range, 6X Visual, to equip IMMS up to 5000T. Sepro has been awarded once again as Premium Supplier by Faurecia Interior Systems, world’s #1 supplier of vehicle interiors.
